What this app is

Inventory Guard is a Shopify admin app that forecasts product demand and suggests reorder points using a store's own product, inventory, and order data. It is installed by a merchant on their Shopify store.

What data we access

With the merchant's authorization, the app reads the following from the Shopify Admin API: products and variants, inventory levels and locations, and order line items from recent history. This data is used solely to compute demand forecasts, reorder points, and the inventory health check that the merchant sees inside the app.

How we use and store data

Order data is used to calculate sales rates and is not sold, shared, or used for advertising. The app stores only per-product settings that the merchant enters (supplier lead time, pack size, units on order) and a Shopify session record needed to keep the app installed. It does not build customer profiles and does not require access to customer names, addresses, or payment information.

Data retention and deletion

When a merchant uninstalls the app, its stored settings and session for that store are removed. Merchants can request deletion of any remaining data by contacting us.
